What you need

Cashi asks for a valid government-issued photo ID and a selfie. The app can show passport, national ID card or driver’s licence depending on your account. Expired documents, screenshots, photocopies and non-government work/student IDs are not accepted.

Verification time

The Help Center says most identity checks complete within a few minutes. Some reviews can take up to 24 hours. After approval, you can deposit funds and apply for the free virtual card.

Proof of address

Most users do not need a separate proof of address. If additional verification is requested, acceptable documents can include utility bills, phone/internet bills, bank/card statements, or government/tax documents.
