JAPAN RESEARCH

Japan availability is not the same as global availability

A card can work at Japanese merchants without accepting Japan residents for new issuance. We separate card acceptance, country eligibility, KYC and issuer-program availability.

METHODOLOGY

How we handle changing product information

We prioritize issuer Help Centers, terms, official product pages and dated app or eligibility checks. If two official sources disagree, we document the conflict. If a feature is on a roadmap, we label it as a roadmap rather than current availability.

FAQ

Quick answers

Can Japan residents use crypto cards?

Some programs accept Japan residents and some do not. Check the current country/KYC status for each issuer rather than assuming a globally marketed card can be issued in Japan.

Where should I start for Cashi?

Use the Cashi overview page, then follow the focused guide for cashback, fees, KYC, countries, networks, Apple Pay, physical card status, referral or fiat access.

Why do some CryptoCardLAB pages disagree with older articles?

Crypto card programs change quickly. Current hub pages and dated verification notes take priority over old snapshots. Where an old article remains useful, we add update notes rather than silently rewriting history.
