How Cashi’s referral program works, what counts toward the $50 spend requirement, and when a referrer must be added.

Referral flow
- Join through an invite or attach the referrer before getting the card.
- Complete identity verification and obtain the Cashi card.
- Spend at least $50 in settled card purchases.
- The referrer’s $5 reward unlocks.
Cashi says there is no referral-count limit. The reward is claimed to the card-spending balance and is not withdrawable.
What counts toward $50?
Regular settled card purchases count broadly. Cash withdrawals, money transfers, card fees, declined transactions, refunds and reversals do not. Referral spend and cashback eligibility use different rules, so a purchase can count toward $50 even if it earns no 3-2-1 cashback.

What is the Cashi referral reward?
The referrer earns $5 after the invited user completes verification, gets a card and reaches $50 in qualifying card purchases.
Does every card purchase count toward $50?
Most settled card purchases count, even if they do not earn cashback. Withdrawals, transfers, fees, declined payments and refunds do not count.
Can a referrer be added after getting the card?
No. Referral information must be attached before the card is obtained.
Do referral rewards expire?
The Help Center says referral rewards do not expire before claiming.
